7 hour car drive

I'm so sorry I have not written in so long! It's been more than a month!

I'm in southern California right now. I've been here for about an hour or so. The car ride was horrific! We had set off from a breakfast with my friends this morning and we were in a small rental Taurus Ford for 7 1/2 hours. I fell asleep for the first 2 hours, and when I woke up I was sick as heck! An hour and a half later, we stopped at Taco Bell and I got a lemonade and nothing else. My sister and brother got quesadillas which I hate and it stunk up the whole car. No offence to my sister, but she took off her shoes and that made the car smell even worse! Anyway, we played a game called Bagels which my teacher used to play last year, then we sang songs in Australian accents. A few hours later we were in traffic and my mom said, "Every black car you find you get a penny, and every red car 5 cents, and every limo 10 cents. I earned $1.54, but we all got $5 for being good sports. We finally got here! I know this might be boring but it's all true. This trip is worth it! I mean it's so hard to move from a school that you've been in since kindergarten into a new one that treats you like you're in high-school.

I'll write on a better topic next weekendish. Keep reading!

COMING SOON!

Below, I have put 2 pictures of Club Penguin. I've decided to make a new section in my blog coming SOON called CP secrets and glitches. It will have secrets and more of Club Penguin. The pictures below are examples of what will be in the section. WHAT IT SHOWS: In the NEW stage in the plaza, you will see two comedy and tragedy puffles on the top of the room. If you look either to the right seats or left seats above you will see a yellow puffle looking around.

SECTION IS COMING SOON! More details to come as it gets closer to the due date.

New or Fondue?

The other day, we went to the Poconos, and we visited a toy shop. Well, when you have a 4 year old brother (Dana) with you, things might twist a little. Before we went into the toy shop, my mom warned us, "We're only LOOKING, not buying." Now to little tots like him, Looking means the same thing as buying (NOTE FOR MOMS). Of course, little Dana finds a doctor's kit, a sled, toy swords, toy trucks and tractors, it's paradise for the munchkin. Then we left, Dana says in a whine-like voice, "Mom, I found a perfect toy, can I get it?" Mom replies, "You heard what I said, honey. Put them on your Christmas list." The grand finale,"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! I WANT A TOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAA WAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!"

To get to the point, well he did this the whole drive home. So I thought, "Hey, why don't I tell him we can make toys so i=I can SHUT THIS BOY UP!!!!" So I told him my idea, he liked it, we started the next morning. He wanted to make a dump truck. I was ready, clay, newspaper, and toothpicks. I worked hard, rolling the clay with my weak strength, putting the pieces together with dumb measurements, and uuuugh. the pain. Dana just sat next to me, looking like a house-maid: his apron with flowers and fruit. Yes! I was finally done. when I looked at it it looked like some robot truck made out of meat balls and a box. Dana didn't notice, so i put it in the oven to dry. After a half an hour, I opened the oven door, and there wasn't any "truck", there was some colorful fondue. I showed Dana and he was disappointed, so was I after getting clay stuffed in my fingernails. I learned a lesson, and it will be something to remember!

I saw Enchanted yesterday, I give it 4.5 stars. PERFECTO!

Emergency post!

OMG! Guess what amazingly happened today?!? Ok, let me tell the whole story...

We were driving to Sneddon's, a breakfast/lunch diner. It was 36 degrees and it was raining too. I guess you know what happens next, we were saying to each other, "Maybe it''l snow?" "And on Dad's birthday too!" By the way, today is my dad's birthday, so say happy birthday. Anyway, all of the sudden dad said, "I think I just saw a flurry!!" Then, there it was, little flakes of...SNOW! It was a combination of snow and rain so every time the flakes touched the ground they melted, but still....WOW!

That was my emrgency share, have a wonderfully, glorious, excitingly awesome, hopefully warm, and weird day!!

Canoeing and schooling!

I'm in Advanced reading in my school and we're doing a project for the book we're reading, Rascal. In Rascal, Sterling is building an 18 foot canoe. So our teacher for Advanced reading, Mrs. Lunetta has had her 5th grade students build an 18 foot canoe over the past few years. So, obviously I'm building an eighteen foot canoe with all the 5th graders. This canoe is made out of rolled up newspaper. This is how it works. We were split up into groups, and each group is building one section of the canoe. Our group (Sarah, Nick, Jamey, and me) are building one of the ends. It is so frustrating! We roll up bunches of newspaper and tape them together. Sarah and my hands turn black from the ink. Our fingers are shaking up a storm from rolling 5 million rolls. We're put in pressure by Jamey who is soo cranky!

Sarah and I keep our selves amused with Kohl's and macy's ads, interesting news articles like the ones about Congo the dog or what ever his name is, and this one section in The times called Date or Mate, where people write a discription of themselves, their age, and what kind of person they want for a mate and put it in this section. In a way, it's kind of funny to see what these people say. There is Men seeking Women, Men seeking men, and Women seeking Women. I know, kind of inapprpriate for school, but no one really cares. Mrs. Lunetta lets us wear our slippers in her condo though. It feels so good to wear cozy, flexable slippers or cozy socks instead of toe squeezing, bulky shoes or boots since it's winter.

Well, I'll be writing next weekendish.

Rude New Yorkers

Yesterday, my family went to New York City. We were walking to the Mexican Restaurant we wanted to go to. We were waiting to go across the street, when a horse and carriage was passing by. The driver was indeed a New Yorker (you could tell when he talked), and he had a white beard with a Snow cap on, you could easily confuse him with Santa, if he was nicer. This lady was J-walking, and the man told his horse loudly, "You go ahead and tell your friends that that woman was J-waking." Then, my dad yelled to him, "Hey Santa!" not knowing he would reply like this, "Hey s**t-head!" I couldn't believe my ears! My dad wasn't a poop-head!! well, the rest of the day was OK.

We went to the Apple Store too. I tried out the iPhone, and it was SO Coolio! But, signing in was a pain in the butt!

I'll be writing next week!

Too hard to communicate!

Everyday, I try to call somebody in California. I also email and send letters. But, It's hard! You always want to be on the phone for HOURS, and you can only be on for an hour or you're grounded! For emails, you can only fit so much, and same with letters that take about 5 or 6 days to get to someone. My friend Madi calls and I call her. We meet on Club Penguin and tell eachother what's happening and we argue like any other friend would. I call other friends, and sometimes they can't be at the phone because of the time difference. I get sooo frustrated, and it's not their fault!

I can't write MUCH more, but here are some things: 1) This might sound weird, but I bruised my liver (EW!!) I did this how? Well, this guy in my class kicks soccer balls really hard, and he kicked one and it hit me right in the stomach ( which knocked the air right out of me). An hour later, I threw up, so the school nurse suggested I go to the doctor. So Mom took me, and the doc. said I most likely bruised my liver. 2) I have pet balloons!! Purple: Dio (boy) Pink: Chleo (girl) They are so cool and easy to take care of! My friends and I have started a club!!

Alright, gotta go! I'll write next Fri., so keep checking! There is also a poll and much more!! This website will have much more later, I just have to tweek it a little. Oh, and check on Halloween! There will be a SPECIAL post on that day!! Happy Halloween!

I'm now a Joisey gal

Hi I'm Lizzi Wyatt Hayes! I'm from Novato, CA...well, not anymore. Now I'm living (not from) Lambertville, NJ. I've been living here for 3 1/2 months. I have already started school and so many things have been happening. My teacher, Mrs. Farina even said, "I'm going to write a story about you!!" I'm part of the student council, I'm in a play, I'm in Advanced reading and I'm part of the 5th grade school newspaper. Everything is soo different around here!

Let me tell you a little more about myself (if anyone other than my friends read this!). My favorite color is pink, my favorite animal is a platypus, and I'd like to be an actress when i grow up. My favorite actors are Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, and Johnny Depp. Someday I'd like to get an Academy Award. Some of my other dreams: to be one of the best dancers in the world, to get married, direct at lest one movie, to go to either Stanford or UCLA, and get my little brother to wear nicer shirts!!

I am the oldest child of my family. I'm 10 years old and will be 11 in March. My sister, Caroline is 8, and my brother, Dana is 4 and 3 quarters. My mom, Erika has a blog page called New2NJ, you should check it out...she is an amazing writer! My dad is an engineer...he is the District Operations Manager of the Atlantic.

I'll be writing a new story/blog every Friday, so check often!
